3. Our role

3.1 SolarForYou is a solar quote comparison and installer-matching platform.

3.2 We help Customers compare estimated solar packages and connect with relevant Installer Partners or Business Partners.

3.3 Unless we clearly state otherwise, SolarForYou does not itself install solar panels, batteries, EV chargers, or related products.

3.4 We are not usually a party to any contract between you and an Installer Partner or Business Partner.

3.5 Any contract for survey, design, supply, installation, finance, warranty, maintenance, or aftercare is normally between you and the relevant Installer Partner or Business Partner.

3.6 SolarForYou may provide estimates, comparisons, savings projections, package suggestions, or installer matches. These are for general information and comparison purposes only. They are not final quotes, technical designs, financial advice, legal advice, or guarantees of performance.

3.7 Final pricing, system design, suitability, installation feasibility, finance terms, warranties, surveys, and legal obligations must be confirmed directly with the relevant Installer Partner or Business Partner.

4. Customers and quote requests

4.1 Customers may submit a quote request by completing a Quote Form on our Website.

4.2 To provide the Services, we may ask you for information such as your name, email address, phone number, postcode, property address, roof details, energy usage, electricity bill, installation preferences, interest in battery storage, and other relevant information.

4.3 You agree that the information you provide must be true, accurate, current, complete, and not misleading.

4.4 You must not submit fake, fraudulent, hoax, offensive, unlawful, or misleading quote requests.

4.5 After you submit a quote request, we may share your information with selected Installer Partners or Business Partners so they can contact you about your enquiry.

4.6 Installer Partners or Business Partners may contact you by phone, email, SMS, WhatsApp, or other communication channels to discuss your requirements, arrange a survey, provide a quote, or provide related information.

4.7 We do not guarantee that:

  • you will receive any quotes;
  • you will receive a specific number of quotes;
  • any quote will be cheaper than another quote available elsewhere;
  • any Installer Partner will accept your project;
  • any installation will be possible at your property;
  • any estimated savings, payback period, generation figure, or return on investment will be achieved.

4.8 SolarForYou may filter, qualify, or match your enquiry based on factors such as location, property type, roof details, energy usage, installer availability, installer service area, package suitability, or other matching criteria.

4.9 We may contact you to verify your details, clarify your requirements, help with your quote request, ask for feedback, or improve our Services.

4.10 For more information about how we use personal data, please read our Privacy Policy.
